Today’s comic deals with the intricacies of dating. Well, the intricacies of convincing a chick you’ve got the hots for to go out with you. As may be the case here, it is sometimes more trouble than it’s worth.
I actually haven’t seen the movie Catch & Release, but it looks like trash, and so far everyone I know who’s seen the film has disliked it. Though I have also noticed that the women that I know who’ve seen the film have hated it less than the guys have. I’m pretty much convinced at this point that Kevin Smith is not just phoning in his career, but I think he’s pretty much come to terms with never being relevant again. As a person who’s never been relevant — to anyone other than my cat — I have no idea what going from relevance to unrelevance must feel like. Though I do imagine that it probably feels better than having to watch Catch & Release.
Also “The Da Vinci Code” is a work of crap. I could add my own observations, but I don’t feel like it.
I do, however, love pizza.
