Today’s comic is a mixture of movie review and commentary on movie marketing. This is what we in the cartooning business call a comedic “double punch.” In their faces!
This was actually a very difficult comic to do because the dialogue in the last panel could be almost anything. “Is this some kind of romantic comedy?” “What’s this movie called?” “So it’s about gay soldiers in Iraq?” For a brief moment I considered just omitting the text from the last panel and letting you people come up with your own comedy, but then I remembered that I’m hilarious, and by and large you aren’t. Triple punch!
