Today’s comic is all about family.
I think Jake was the one that asked, casually, if Dr. Dread was related to Judge Dread. There really was only one acceptable answer. How could he not be? And yes, his first name is Judge, as in Judge Reinhold — who might I point out is the most awesome actor ever. Well, he’s no Mos Def, but still.
Comic book fans might point out that Judge Dread’s name should actually be spelled “Dredd.” The explanation is that the Angel Ants character Judge Dread bares no similarity, imagined or real, to the comic book character Judge Dredd, or the film character Judge Dredd. Though, yeah, I guess if you squint a bit they do sort of look a like. Chalk that up to coincidence, I say. No really, that’s all I’ll say about this matter.
